SAY NO TO RACISM!

Over the past few days we have seen people attacked in the streets and dragged from their cars because of the colour of their skin. Community facilities smashed, vehicles torched,  businesses looted.  Proof, were it needed, of where racism leads.

The Liberal Democrats STAND AGAINST ALL FORMS OF RACISM, whatever its source, whatever its target.  We have no sympathy for cowards who talk of the rioters’ ‘legitimate concerns’ for there are none.  

Patriotism is about loving your country.  Liberal Democrats love our country so much that we choose to serve it.  Nationalism is about hating other countries and people.  It brings nothing but division and destruction.
